When is it held?

The Singapore Grand Prix is held in September and spans over 3 nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Drivers are allowed 3 free practice sessions and Friday would be the day where two of the three free practice sessions takes place. The last free practice session will take place on Saturday and after that, a qualifying round will be held to determine the starting order of the race.

Sunday is where all the excitement begins. With 61 laps for drivers such as Jenson Button, Mark Webber, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso to complete, it will be a thrilling night to see them compete against one another to fight for the title. In addition, the circuit is known to be one of the most difficult circuits due to the narrow track and the many sharp manoeuvres. This thus contributes to the excitement of the night as it is hard for drivers to overtake one another.
